With studios in Nokomis, Florida and Tryon, North Carolina, Missi & Co serves clients nationwide. We specialize in turn-key custom homes and full-scale renovations, guiding projects from the first idea through final installation. Because we intentionally take on a limited number of projects at a time, we encourage you to begin the conversation earlier than you might think. Good design takes time, and we believe that process should never feel rushed.

For Missi Youngblood, great design isn’t just about a beautiful room; it’s about the soul of the home. Raised on job sites helping her father build and renovate investment properties, Missi developed a rare “inside-out” understanding of construction long before she earned her design degree from Brenau University. This unique foundation allows her to see the architectural potential where others only see walls.
With over 35 years of experience spanning the coastal elegance of Florida to the sophisticated retreats of the Carolinas, Missi has mastered the art of “relaxed luxury.” Her philosophy is simple: your home should be an elegant reflection of your story – one where you aren’t afraid to put your feet up.
An award-winning member of the Interior Design Society (IDS), Missi’s work has been featured in Sarasota Magazine and South Carolina Homes & Gardens. Today, she leads Missi & Co. from her studios in Nokomis, FL, and Tryon, NC, bringing clarity, integrity, and a curated eye to discerning clients nationwide.
Jessica Singer
Lead Designer
Jessica happened across her talent naturally after managing personal remodel/build projects and being summoned by friends and family.
With her unique background in event coordinating and then 15 years in marketing and advertising, she brings a professional and creative approach to what we do at Missi & Co.
Jessica is techy, organized, and has an eye for design … a rare combination!
Besh Behrend
Business Manager
Besh has built her experience ‘behind the scenes’ over the last seven years working in hotel management. Missi and Besh are a dynamic mother-daughter duo!
Besh’s superpower is being organized and detail-oriented when it comes to scheduling, invoicing, procurement and order tracking so the design team can stay focused on their creative process.
Kelsey SPRATT
Junior Designer
Kelsey was born and raised in Western New York and received a degree in Interior Design from Alfred State College in Alfred, NY. She brings knowledge of structural design and has experience with space planning and material selections for new construction homes.
Her proficiency in technical skills involves creating construction documents with AutoCAD and 3D renderings with Sketchup brings a unique set of skills to the team.

Known for her calm demeanor and positive energy, she brings warmth and efficiency to every client experience.
Christy Ward
Lead Designer, Tryon
She further expanded her expertise in visual merchandising and design while living in the Tampa Bay Area. A later move to Tryon, NC, allowed her to reconnect with her love for design. There, she quickly immersed herself in the local design scene, breathing new life into homes with an intentional, thoughtful approach to each project—always accompanied by her warm smile and positive spirit.
