Missi & Co
is a luxury interior design house
With studios in Nokomis, Florida and Tryon, North Carolina, Missi & Co serves clients nationwide. We specialize in turn-key custom homes and full-scale renovations, guiding projects from the first idea through final installation. Because we intentionally take on a limited number of projects at a time, we encourage you to begin the conversation earlier than you might think. Good design takes time, and we believe that process should never feel rushed.
From the inside and out, your vision is our expertise.
During our Discovery phase, we take the time to understand how you live, what matters most to you, and how your home should feel. The result is a home that reflects your lifestyle and values, thoughtfully designed in good taste and balance.
As a collaborative team of experienced designers, we approach each project with care, creativity, and deep respect for your investment. When design is grounded in both creativity and real-world knowledge, it doesn’t just look beautiful, it lives beautifully.
“When a client challenges us? That’s when we get to show our expertise.”
– Missi Youngblood
“Working with an interior designer can be intimidating. I walked into Missi Youngblood’s studio with a bit of angst and left feeling that we were going to have fun. Missi is professional and confident. Her work speaks for itself. Each design reflects the personality and interest of the client.”

The Team

Missi Youngblood
Principal Designer, CEO
You don’t just want a beautiful home. You want one that works. Missi Youngblood has spent over 35 years making sure those two things are never in conflict.
Raised on job sites alongside her contractor father, Missi brings something most designers simply don’t have: a true inside-out understanding of how homes are built. She spots structural opportunities where others see limitations, which means your project moves forward with fewer surprises, smarter decisions, and a result that is architecturally sound and visually stunning.
Her signature aesthetic of relaxed luxury means your finished home will feel elegant without feeling untouchable. You will love it the way you actually live. An award-winning member of the Interior Design Society, her work has been featured in Sarasota Magazine and South Carolina Homes & Gardens.

Jessica Singer
Lead Designer, FL
Her 15 years in marketing and advertising trained her to think visually, communicate precisely, and manage complex timelines. These are skills that translate directly into a smoother, clearer experience for you. She knows how to interpret a client’s lifestyle and personality into a cohesive design vision, and she has the organizational discipline to see it through without anything falling through the cracks.
Creative instincts paired with professional structure. That combination is rarer than you might think.

Besh Behrend
Business Manager
With seven years in hotel management, Besh brings a hospitality-level standard of care to the business side of your project. She handles procurement, scheduling, order tracking, and invoicing so nothing gets lost and the design team remains focused on what they do best. When you are investing at this level, that kind of operational precision is not a luxury. It is essential.

She loves turning complex design ideas into practical solutions and ensuring that every home is as beautifully executed as it is imagined.

Jacqueline Rent
Gallery Manager, NC
With a foundation from the Art Institute of Philadelphia and a career spanning vendor representation and trade showroom leadership from New York City to Los Angeles, she brings a broad and discerning eye to every client conversation. As Missi & Co.’s antiques and art gallery manager in Tryon, she helps clients find the singular pieces that bring a home to life, whether that is a rare antique, a work of art, or that one finishing touch you cannot quite name. She does it all with calm energy and genuine warmth.

Christy Ward
Lead Designer, NC
Her career began working under a high-end designer in Belleair, FL, and expanded through years of visual merchandising and design work in the Tampa Bay area. Now rooted in Tryon, NC, she brings a thoughtful, ground-up approach to every project, listening first and designing second. Clients consistently describe working with her as both professional and genuinely enjoyable.

Hailey Gimler
Designer
She uses tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp to give you a clear picture of your project before anything gets built, so you can make decisions with confidence. And throughout it all, Hailey is right there with you guiding the process, answering questions, and making sure your vision stays at the center of every decision.

Bailey Driggers
Designer
Bailey has a formal Interior Design degree from Winthrop University and got her start working in high-end residential design before joining the team. She genuinely loves that every client brings something different to the table, and that comes through in how she works with you.

You can trust every contractor she uses, the quality of the products she puts in place and that the promises she makes will be kept. She can find just the perfect things to surprise you, delight you and make your home that much more special.”
